Climate Action

Members of our Green School’s Committee have been very busy over the past few weeks engaging in various Climate Action Events.

On March 3rd, a Global Climate Event was held in Grand parade, Cork city. The march was an initiative taken by Fridays For Future -  an organisation which promotes climate justice across Ireland. One of our Third year students, Akshita Gupta, addressed the crowd at the end of the march with a passionate and inspirational speech highlighting the importance of Climate Justice.

On March 24th, Green Schools Committee members and Water Ambassadors also took part in a Walk for Water today as part of their Action Plan.
