The Principal
Ms Richel Long is a graduate of Trinity College Dublin, having completed a concurrent degree in Education with Home Economics and Irish (Gaeilge). Following this Batchelor in Education award, Ms Long undertook her Master of Arts in Irish at Trinity College Dublin. Returning to her native Cork and following several years of teaching, Ms Long moved into the position of Deputy Principal in 2011. Subsequently, she undertook her Master of Education at University College Cork. Ms Long held one previous Principal position before being appointed Principal of Christ King Girls’ Secondary School in 2019. Ms Long’s most recent educational qualifications include an Advanced Diploma in Education and Law from Kings’ Inns, Dublin 2023, and a Diploma in Life and Leadership Coaching 2024.
