Over the Easter holidays, a number of our Transition Year students and Fifth Year students visited London and Barcelona with their teachers.

Our Annual School Table Quiz will take place in the school on Thursday April 18th at 7:30pm. It is always a wonderful evening with lots of fun.

Seachtain na Gaeilge was a very exciting week in Christ King. A number of different activities took place to celebrate our native language.

Our Green Schools Committee held an Easter Egg Draw to raise funds for our greenhouse project.

Congratulations to the CKSS Drama Club who came 1st 🏅 in their category at Feis Maitiú today.

Unicef Gaza Appeal € 557 raised on March 22nd Thank you to all the students and teachers who contributed so generously to this fundraiser.

Thank you to Norma Foley for sending us our cinealtas flag. The week before the Easter break, we celebrated all that is kindness in words, actions and beliefs within our school.

We had a very exciting day with our Incoming First years who will be joining our school community in September. Each student got an opportunity to try five different optional subjects such as graphics, art, home economics, science, business, music, French, German and Spanish.

Huge congratulations to our First Year students, Ella McCarthy and Holly McLoughlin who very recently won an all-Ireland medal for Cork in the U14 SFAI Interleague All Ireland up in UL.

Easter Camp for 4th, 5th & 6th class boys & girls of art, coding, sport & baking is taking place in our school from Tues 2nd April - Fri 5th April. Email eastercamp@christkingschool.com to register your child. It promises to be a great week with lots of learning and fun.

Ski Trip 2024 took our students and teachers to Lavarone during the February mid-term break. They all had a wonderful time.

Our First and Second year basketball teams were victorious in their matches against Carrigtwohill Community College on Friday 2nd February.

Congratulations to all the students in 2A class and their class teacher Ms McQuinn who recently raised €260 for Pieta House by holding a bake sale.

Congratulations to our First Year students who had a superb win in the first league match against Mount Mercy in Bishopstown on Thursday.

Our Leaving Cert students began their Saturday study sessions yesterday. We commend how they have established positive study practices and time management.
