Lunch Time Clubs Updates

Law Club:

Our student-led Law club continues to be one of the most active and popular lunchtime clubs in the school. Facilitated by a number of our Third Year students, the numbers continue to grow. A number of debates are planned for after Easter which the students are busily preparing for.

On March 16th, a number of students from the Law Club travelled to Dublin, together with their teachers Ms Bouche and Ms Gleeson and the TY Legal studies group and had a very informative day at the Criminal Courts of Justice. They learned about the presumption of innocence, the different roles in the courtroom & attended live trials. A wonderful experience for the students, many who are considering careers in law in the future.

Chess Club:

Chess Club recently began in the school on Tuesdays and a number of students from First to Sixth Year showed keen interest. We look forward to building this club going forward.
