Sports in March

Rock Climbing:

Huge congratulations to Ava Cahill 3D, Matylda Blin 3B, Julia Pietrzela 3F and Isabelle O’Connor 1B for competing in the Irish Schools Rock-Climbing Competition in Bishopstown earlier this month. Great teamwork, dedication and skills on display throughout the event. The team was selected to go forward to the National Finals on Friday 28th April in Dublin. Best of luck in the next stage of the competition.

Basketball:

Our Second Year Basketball Team had huge success over the past month. Our Second Year Basketball team fought hard and came out on top in their recent semifinal against a strong Mount Mercy team. The girls all played fantastically and their hard work has paid off.

Unfortunately, the students were beaten in the County Final against a very strong Coachford Team. We are so proud of all the girls for getting to the finals and we wish them the very best as they go forward to the All-Irelands.

Tennis:

Congratulations to our First Year U14 tennis team who were victorious in the Quarter Finals of the Munster school tennis championship. Liwia Kinch, Ciara Allen, Klea Ahmeti and Abigail Adair were the students playing. The students won all of their matches against Scoil Mhuire. A wonderful achievement. We look forward to supporting you in the Semi Finals of the Munster school tennis championship.
