World Book Day 2023

In honour of World Book Day, a number of different activities took place throughout the school. Our First and Second Year students participated in a book quiz and had lots of fun answering questions about famous book characters and authors. Huge thanks to teacher Ms Angland, who coordinated and facilitated the quizzes. Prizes were awarded to the winning teams.

First Year students also celebrated World Book Day by dressing up in their favourite characters. Prizes were again awarded for the best costume.

The whole school participated in a Drop Everything And Read session during World Book day also.

Finally, a bookmark competition was held for the entire school and well done to all the students who entered the competition. A huge number of entries were received and the judges had a very difficult job choosing the winning entries. Congratulations to the winners on their exceptional designs. We look forward to printing the bookmarks in the future and including them in the student journal.
