Bishop Fintan Gavin visits our school

On Thursday 26 th January, Bishop Fintan Gavin graced our school with a visit and blessed our prayer room. It has now become a space for our students to come and be close to God and a place to meditate.

While he was at our school, he met with all of our students for a prayer service, firstly with 1st , 2nd and 3rd year students and then with 4th , 5th and 6th year students. . The school orchestra played during the ceremonies. He spoke to our students about his life experience and his journey to becoming Bishop and gave our students the opportunity to ask him questions which they thoroughly enjoyed.

This was a very joyous occasion for our school and will be remembered for some time.

We would like to thank Bishop Fintan Gavin for making this special occasion possible for our school.
