Awards Ceremony 2023

On Thursday 4th May, over 200 students received Awards at our Awards Ceremony. Students, parents and teachers joined us in the school hall to acknowledge the exceptional achievements of so many of our students. Students were recognised for their academic achievements, their leadership, their volunteerism, their commitment to school life and their talents in the arts and sports.

Teacher, Ms Aisling Creedon, joined by Leaving Cert student, Sophie Mattimoe opened the Awards Ceremony with a beautiful musical recital. Special thanks to two of our wonderful teachers - Master of Ceremonies, Ms Sarah Curtin and Ms Patricia Harrington who had overall responsibility for organising the Awards Ceremony.

We were honoured to be joined by past pupil, Dr. Áine Ní Shé, who is currently Registrar & Vice-President for Academic Affairs (Acting) at Munster Technological University (Cork), Ireland. In this role, she has responsibility for academic affairs across the Bishopstown Campus, Cork School of Music, Crawford College of Art & Design, and the National Maritime College of Ireland. Dr Ní Shé shared invaluable advice with the students and encouraged them to keep all doors open in their future lives.
