Parents' Council

The Parents’ Council at Christ King Secondary School is a very active and vibrant council and is open to all parents and guardians who have a daughter currently enrolled in the school. It is a vital and valued link between the School and the parents of the students and plays a key role in the life of the School.

  • The Parents' Council is consulted before new school policies are introduced and are also made aware of any amendments to existing policies.

Aims of the Parents' Association Communication

  • Promote good communications between the school and parents/guardians.
  • Provide opportunities to raise issues of interest to parents/guardians and to get information from the school in response.
  • Help raise funds in order to improve the quality of the educational experience of our daughters in Christ King Secondary School.
  • Organise activities to promote the welfare of the students in the school.

Minutes from previous Parent Council Meetings:

The Parents’ Council is friendly, informal and productive. During the academic year, the Council holds monthly meetings in the School which is open to all parents. These meetings take place on the second Tuesday of each month at 7:30 pm and give parents a forum for discussion, opportunities to address trends in education and policy development.
